Jokes aside, I wouldn't really advise this behavior. In my eyes, a lot of human behavior, especially that which is meant to encourage self improvement, is based around a subconsious desire to acquire a sexual partner. By creating an imaginary love interest, you are subconsiously admitting to yourself that you have failed, and will continue to fail, at your most inherent desire as organism. The resulting mentality will result in a being that will sooner or later be trapped in a cycle of regression. Remotely capable of getting a GF or not, you cannot let yourself fall into that pit. You must shun that which does not exist and push forward, improving yourself.
