Kasich: GOP high-risk pools are 'ridiculous'

Republican voters and uneducated voters are one and the same at this point. The GOP is actively trying to hurt people with their healthcare ideas, but people are so blinded by hatred of Obama and Democrats to see that; or even remember that the ACA was originally the GOP alternative to universal healthcare.

If all things were sane, the GOP would be arguing to leave the ACA as-is since it mandates all people to carry health insurance, and the lack of a public option allows the industry to monopolize prices, albeit not as high as previous since more healthy people are in the insurance pool. Democrats should be pushing medicare for all like Bernie is. From there the arguments between the two sides should be about the usual stuff: Tax policy, spending priorities. Republicans should take their small government talking points and apply ideas consistent with that - I would think things like "can we consolidate some of the 10+ Federal law enforcement (DEA, FBI, ATF, U.S. Marshals, etc.) and intelligence agencies (CIA, NSA, etc.) to get rid of some bureaucracy?" "What's the best way to reform the tax code?"

But it's not. It's just "liburals like it so lets take it away and fuck the consequences! 'Murica!"
