Considering Apple's products and services right now, what would you like to see from Google at I/O?

I'm probably gonna get downvoted for this, but... there's no flaw in his logic.

Google isn't in the same ballpark as Twitter or Snapchat, or even Instagram. Yeah, Instagram is owned by Facebook, the internet's other major creepy stalker, but you don't have to link it with a Facebook account. You don't even need a Facebook account to use it, so it's not a huge deal. It doesn't make you use your real name and you don't have to give them any personal info at all.

The problem with Google is that it knows exactly who you are. They have your name, your address, your phone number, your search history, your location, your emails, everything. They know who your friends are, they know who you talk to most, they know when you have hemorrhoids or want cheap pizza. They know where you work and where you live and where you spend most of your time. They know what kind of porn you watch. They know everything.

Other services only have the information that I give them. They don't have my search history, real name, address or phone number. They can't read my private conversations.

I don't mind my online activity being tracked anonymously for ads or whatever. But there's a line that I don't let them cross, and that's my personal life. They don't get to know where I live or where I work, they don't get to know where I go, who I spend time with, what I talk to my husband about, etc. They don't have access to my private conversations, because I don't have private conversations using these services. They don't have access to my name, address, phone number, whatever, because I'm not giving it to them.

Having an Android phone would be akin to giving a stranger the keys to my house. No thanks.
