[CONTEST] Secrets and Goodies!!!

A two-fer moment from life I can laugh at now, at 35 years old:
So I was in high school, and like many people, I was in the drama club. I have always loved performing, and it was a great compliment to my playing in hardcore and punk bands...sort of the more mellow side of me.

My junior year musical was "Into The Woods," and I was cast as "Cinderella's Prince," or as I referred to myself, Prince Charming. My costume was a purple, crushed velvet coat that cut off about 4 inches above my waist...and...lycra tights. Nothing more...except for some thigh-high brown boots...it was QUITE the visual. That's not the funny part.

At one point in the show, my character rolls around on the ground with "The Baker's Wife," who happened to be played by a Senior girl that I had a bit of a thing for. Let's be honest, at 17 years old, I had a thing for EVERY girl, and being able to roll around on the ground with one...nightly...it was quite a good time. ACTING! That's also not the funny part.

So all is going well and the first weekend of shows go off without a hitch, though needless to say, anyone who wondered how I'd matured at that age had no further questions thanks to my costume. I got a NUMBER of dates in the following weeks and thanked our costume designer for helping my social life. Also NOT the funny part...but we're almost there.

The third weekend (of four), was going along just fine, but for whatever reason, that evenings roll touched me somewhere it hadn't before, and at 17, it's pretty much impossible to control certain reactions to certain parts of your anatomy being touched in certain ways....also, any guy will attest to the fact that once certain muscles have been engaged, you know INSTANTLY...

Did I mention that I had to jump up after the roll on the ground and start singing in a spotlight? I didn't mention that? Well, yeah, I did...

Want one better? How's about the fact that the evening in question was the night my family were there taking pictures?

Top it? OK...well, one of the running jokes in the family was that for about a decade, the ONLY photo my grandparents had of me in their home was from that EXACT moment...and they apparently weren't aware of the roll of quarters that dominated the photo...

I will see if I can get a copy of said photo for proof of the moment, but hopefully this read at least made you feel less sick for a bit...and it is 100% true.
