Tell your wife I'm sorry she does not have the mother she deserves. That it's ok to acknowledge that. That it's ok to be angry about it. And it ok to grieve for the mother she wanted, the loving mother that put her child's interests first, while the mother she actually has is alive. But, when she called the police her end game was to have your children taken from you. She was willing to risk that in a power play. Are you? How would that have affected your children? What lasting damage would they have from that? She didn't care about her child or her child's children, they were all acceptable collateral damage in her quest for your obedience.
