Correcting false information being spread on this sub regarding the data I've collected

The posts are pretty clear, and I’m not sure how you get words being put in your mouth from them. They say that that data doesn’t support the assertion that schools should close. Neither do the multiple studies done on the topic, well summarized in the Nature article on the topic.

Requiring that someone supports their position with data and analysis, especially in the face of data and analysis isn’t trolling, and it isn’t being a jerk. No one is saying that kids don’t get it. No is saying that kids can’t spread it. What most people in authority, including the microbiologist that you’ve quoted, are saying is that schools aren’t a source of the spread, and don’t need to close, especially in light of the really very important aspects of mental health, nutrition, and child welfare that are very present when schools are closed. It’s tough to parse those things - I’m certainly no expert - but that’s why we have the scientists do it.

For the record, I haven’t downvoted anything you’ve said, for what the imaginary internet points are worth.
