I'm struggling with this part. I don't want to support third-parties and sent out an email to let them all know we would no longer be doing so after approval from my boss the assistant superintendent. However that seems to blown up in my face as the superintendent says we are now. I often wonder if the previous staff prior to me got it started by doing it as a courtesy.

Their machines are on their own domain so there's not much that can be done plus I don't think we should be spending our organizations resources on another company/organization that already has their own IT department. However I'd say tomorrow my opinion/decisions will be null which is very disheartening and really makes me regret trading my lower paying stress free job for this one.
