Crazy pax refused to get out, had to call police (LA)

I've been there about 4 times. The 3rd time a crazy person in Downtown LA blocked me in a parking lot with her car and threatened to blow me up, the LAPD took about 35 mins to respond (but they did come with lights and siren) and this was at 3 AM in the morning.

I would say after incident 2 I got over my fear of dying and also my fear of killing someone (in self-defense) because I quickly found out that these companies don't have you back, there are no law firms or organizations that you can turn to and once you mention you're a Lyft or Uber driver, the 911 call-taker pretty much dismisses the severity of the incident.

My advice, get a dashcam the records inside and out, put camera warning signs EVERYWHERE, get pepper spray (I openly carried one on my belt and the other was hidden) and don't wear clothes that has your neck exposed, carry a 2nd phone on your person for emergencies (You don't need service to call 911) in the event you become separated from your primary phone and don't wear shoes (heels, flipflops, slippers) that make it impossible to run and escape (if need be).
