Creative People - When and how did you realize you had no talent to earn a living as an actor/artist/musician/writer?

You know I actually could make a living as a musician and or a photographer.

I decided against it because the kind of work I was doing was not that interesting.

As a musician I could make a decent living playing pop music at local small venues, corporate gigs and weddings. As a photographer I could also make a living doing headshots and weddings. The issue I had was all the overhead business work I had to do on top of it. More than 90% of your work it is networking, marketing overhead and not actually doing the art itself. Because of that I just decided to do something else professionally that was more interesting and enjoyable and do art professionally on the side and being really selective from my work.
