Please don't think I was accusing you or his wife, that was not my intention at all... I was just trying to get you to empathize with Whedon. I don't seem to be able to no matter what I say though and so I don't think I'll say anything else. You've made up your mind that he's guilty, that's too bad. I guess you just have to hope that if you should ever be accused of something, society will consider you innocent until proven guilty.

I'm not defending him, if you remember I actually said that I dislike him. I don't feel the need to get into why, because it has nothing to do with this. The reason I started this conversation was because I saw someone accusing a man they've never met (based on the word of a woman they've never met) of being a rapist without any proof and I didn't want to sit silently. He isn't even accused of rape, only adultery.

You accuse me of making this a crusade, but you yourself call him a "sleazy pervert" and say this is "another Cosby situation." You almost sound like you want him to be guilty. Personally I'd rather see him be innocent, because then there would be no victims. I don't understand why you think Whedon is so powerful that he is above the law, Cosby actually has five times Whedon's wealth and was one of America's most beloved actors and it didn't save him from the trial... Whedon is only even well-known among nerds like us.

And again, I don't care if you cheat on your wife or not. That's your own business. I'm not in the habit of judging people I've never met. I'm also not in the habit of twisting people's words. Don't think just because I can excuse adultery means I condone it, and don't try to compare murder with adultery and then pretend I condone that as well. That was pretty low.
