Lol being a fit person with a large social circle is very very hard in grad school. And without the social circle its going to be very hard on apps for guys. Not to mention being a grad student (at for me) I got less matches within grad school than after. Though I never did that great on apps.

This also is pretty unrealistic for grad student. Plus a (stereotypical) grad student is often introverted which makes it even harder to make connections outside your immediate cohort. And well if you don’t click with your cohort then its very easy (as someone who isn’t that social) to just end up lonely in grad school

But hey I see your major is EE/BME and at least in the former there aren’t many girls. i was an engineer too and it was very hard for me to meet anyone outside my major as there weren’t any general grad student events. Did you just do stuff outside school?
