I don’t believe this Tyler stuff is genuine for a second. He’s trying to do a Dan’s Funeral type of move to pander to whoever stays between Bay/Day to ensure a jury vote he lost last time.

I also believe he’s zooming out on the climate of the season and is doing damage control to the public with this move. The problem is, this will give CBS a really false sense of righting a wrong for years to come.

Lastly, I fully believe he didn’t have a ‘come to Jesus’ moment about all of this. I believe BB in the diary room is asking him very pandering questions to give him hints about public perception. They’re trying to groom him as the “heroic” winner for a better ending.
