A little over a year ago I went out to celebrate my ex's birthday with his mother & brother. We chose this little hipster, burger joint that's a little out of our way from where we lived. His mother, being the pickiest of picky people (and a bit crazy) started "acting up". We were seated and given some water. She takes a sip of water and starts going on about how "this water tastes like they got it out of a well out back" queue 5 more minutes of complaining about the water waiter comes back and asks if we are ready to order. "So it says here you have a salad, but it doesn't have any tomatoes or cucumbers. What kind of salad even is that?!" THEN there's a problem with the tables/chairs. "How can anyone sit on these?! my butt really hurts and my back. There should be cushions. You really wanted to eat here? It's really ugly. I should tell the management they would get more people if they fixed all these problems" The waiter comes back asking if we were ready to order. She begins to lecture him about the water, the chairs, the tables, the décor surrounding the area we were sitting in. She got so worked up over all of this that she starts crying and swearing at us for choosing such a "poorly" run restaurant. I could feel every pupil fixed on me. We ended up just getting up and leaving because she couldn't control herself...We ended up eating at Quaker Steak...
