Not me as I wasn’t born yet but my Dad has a story. He was in the funeral business in the middle of a company meeting when someone had the radio running in the background and ran in saying a plane hit the World Trade Center. At first they didn’t pay much attention to it cause they thought it was a single-engine (small) plane and not anything the size of a jet. They all presumed it was a single man plane that accidentally clipped the side of one of the buildings. When someone stated it was a passenger jet that directly hit the north tower they ended the meeting and turned on the tv to watch the second plane hit the south towers. At that moment they knew it wasn’t an accident and it was some kind of terrorist attack. My dad stated to the company, “There is no way those towers would fall” as discussions started about what would happen next. He visited the World Trade Center a year before and remarked how massive they were and how there is no way the building would give way. Sadly he was wrong and the entire world had to watch as both towers fell to the ground leaving little chance of hope for any survivors...
