I personally don't feel the need to evaluate my role because I don't have one. I didn't do anything to cause this. My only goal if it can be called that is for violent crime to be reduced to the levels of other first world nations like Canada or France because I live here and I don't want to deal with that. If the government is going to get involved, I'd like them to honest about the problem because otherwise it's just a waste of tax payer money at best or a serious violation of my constitutional rights worst case scenario. I don't know why you'd think I'm a progressive. That is probably the worst description of my political beliefs you could possibly give.
