Curious.... Why do affairs happen?

People just do not understand what it's like to be with somebody for YEARS, to love every part of them, to have your life wrapped up so completely and yet be missing so much romance and love.

Nobody ever thinks about the people in a family or relationship that they can't leave for the safety of their partner/kids. Sometimes it is next to impossible to leave, you love this person more than you love yourself, but you are so miserable from neglect that it starts to tip the scales.

If you loved your partner more than anything, but lack of physical affection was driving you apart, would you become a cheater in order to stay with that person and continue to give them everything?

It's so easy to judge the person finding satisfaction, but how often do people blame the faithful spouse that refuses to meet your needs even a bit?

I cheat because sex and love and kink and passion is a huge part of me, I work hard to look and be sexy and it's really important to engage with that. Even though I crave to please and satisfy a lover, I also love my wife more than myself, so I will suffer the little bit of guilt and stress in order to give her the other 90% of what I do in the relationship for her.
