You have misinterpreted literally everything I said, which is no real surprise considering you misinterpreted the comment you originally replied to, so it must be a character flaw of yours. That, or you have really, really poor reading comprehension.

I didn't say anything about upvotes meaning that someone is right. I said that the upvotes could mean that they understood what the person meant. I don't know how I could have been any more clear with that. Sometimes there's no hidden meaning behind a sentence.

Also, not once did I infer, imply, or otherwise state that nonsense of "the person I do not agree with is wrong," or that "popular opinions are always right," nor do I believe either of those things. Why do you think I wrote the whole paragraph about it being tragic that you've never had your views challenged?
