Ive been encountering issues when using my phone as hotspot for my ps4 which i dont encounter when using regular wifi. Here’s how it goes:

Attempt 1 to connect on my phone hotspot would usually result in 40 mbs of download speed and 17.5 kbs of upload speed. PS4 would consider itself connected to Wifi but id be unable to play any game because the upload speed doesnt even seem to be enough for me to connect to the PSN with the upload speed. Meanwhile my iPhone would also indicate its hotspot is currently being used.

Following attempts to test connection would usually have the process be interrupted at either the obtain ip address step or the internet connection step, without my iPhone having the blue corner indicator that its hotspot is being used.

Waiting a long while would kind of reset the process but retrying then would just give me attempt 1 again. This hasnt always been the case and ive only first noticed the problem last july

Wth is happening?
