I know, I was just teasing you. Marseille and Monaco kept getting close to winning it in that period, it's not like how PSG are absolutely dominating the league right now. I'm glad I still got to see Bordeaux, Lille, Marseille and Montpellier (which was unbelievable wow) win the league before PSG really established themselves as the absolute biggest team in France.

I do think the overall league is more attractive to watch than it was in the 00s. France was associated with defensive football at the time, whereas I see a lot more variation between styles these days. I like how Lille and Rennes are playing, even though they don't have nearly the budget of Lyon or PSG.
