Can we talk about how underrated Liverpool’s academy is? Under our youth policy, we’ve given the promising youths 3-4 years to develop, while most clubs would have either sold/loaned/forced them into the starting 11 hoping to expect results.

In comparison, Frank Lampard’s Chelsea have proven to be a disappointment in terms of youth. Having 600 youths in your ranks doesn’t automatically make you a manager who ‘trusts’ the youth. In fact, this lad has went 1 season with youths, and in the next, spent the whole GDP of a country buying a whole new 11. Let’s not talk about the hundreds of players’ careers they’ve ruined through their irresponsible loaning system, but just look solely at their 11. They phased out Mount, Abraham, Emerson, even when these were their ‘star players’. And come on, I get that they earned 200 mil from Hazard and previous sales, but how are they not affected by a pandemic at all?

Overall, Lampard’s reputation for ‘trusting the youth’ has proven to be pretty much a fraud, with him pretty much just filling up the gaps with 50mil each. Can’t see the difference between them and Sheikh-era Manc anymore
