My friend is running the Los Angeles marathon tomorrow. We will be in close proximity to one another on Tuesday, we are supposed to be recording music together in a small room at a great music studio. I'm leaning toward cancelling, despite how he might react and despite losing a major opportunity.

What do you guys think? 27,000 people in close proximity, and I'm seeing many petitions and Twitter posts calling for the event to be cancelled entirely, however, it is going to go on as plan. The organizers of the race released a press conference telling all the runners to stay more than 6 feet away from each other at all times, but that doesn't seem logistically possible in a marathon. I live with and care for my frail 64 year old mother who has some health problems but whom also is in complete denial that the coronavirus is a problem. What would you do?
