I think it’s fair to point out that there was an extreme bias towards joe in both of those organizations, however I just take issue using the term “cancel” as I think it’s thrown around too much these days, what it essentially means it going after someone’s revenue stream in effort to punish them, that’s not what happened. Joe Rogan signed a contract with Spotify that while I have no idea the ins and outs of I’m sure wasn’t exactly easy for Spotify to just drop out of without paying some massive cash. What happened there is simply corporations using their assets to try to devalue a new competitor in their market, it just so happens these corporations assets are literally people millions of folk actually think are telling the honest truth each and every second. Either way I in no way support it I just think it’s important to correctly label and understand what you’re talking about. I’m also sticking this in last because it’s the part I’m least sure about but I’m sure there were at least a few right leaning news organizations that were bashing joe or at least have been? My main point here is more that mass media in general is awful more so than either side.
