I've found a new reason to turn down jobs.

I don't know if this kind of thinking will have a larger impact but I hope it does. Of course for the right it won't make a difference. But I'm in university work and I can tell you it's already having ripple effects with faculty and administrators wanting to flee red states (which, admittedly a lot of republicans would like to see). I am in Colorado and was a finalist for a job in a Southern state to move closer to family. Just pulled out of the search. There's no way in hell I would move my family to a red state now, as this is just the tip of the iceberg. I fully recognize I'm in a massively privileged position and you better believe I'm going to fight like hell to help those in red states who now live under this Christian hellscape.
