Dear Woman, How did You Build Your Confidence in Yourself? [F19]

I’m not sure if this is good advice but I tell myself that it’s okay to feel self conscious sometimes and it will pass like all feelings do. Also not being hard on yourself is important. For me when I was hard on myself I would get upset about having acne scars or not having a partner. But both of those things are normal. I still am not perfect at self talk and seeking the perfect self esteem/confidence is also not that healthy I don’t think. Thinking about how you’d talk to your younger self like five year old self helps me too. For example, would I tell my tiny five your old self that she is stupid or not pretty? Nope that would be so cruel. And also just to reiterate I’m still working on being nice to myself.
