Derrick Rose with the dagger

I didn't realize that losing by 15 points and not being able to recover the deficit solely on your own means you aren't clutch.

My whole WTF moment was after you said the above line. Really, you didn't realize that losing by 15 means you aren't considered clutch. Then you casually go on to say the following:

Clutch means elevating your level of play when the game is on the line.. what do you think clutch means?

You are literally disagreeing with yourself.

I'm not even saying a player is all of a sudden 'not clutch', when not winning. It's just that you don't consider them clutch, because whatever they are doing isn't good enough for a win. Being clutch means nothing, when losing. No one cares if you're being clutch if you lose. No one.

Read my comment again. The fact that you quoted yourself again means you didn't read:

Being clutch only means something if it gets the W. Doesn't mean you aren't clutch, it just means whatever you did means jack shit.

I, like the whole world, call a player clutch when he makes timely shots in a win.

So you're pulling the Kobe card? Kobe, one of the greatest, is defined as clutch because he is the black mamba. In the playoffs. He has rings. Nothing more has to be said. Yes. He is obviously clutch for life now. But to say Kyrie has "been the most clutch scorer in the league since his rookie year," when he hasn't played a single playoff game in his career up until now, is just a little naive. Kyrie probably is clutch, but you just don't go around saying he was clutch when he never played a playoff game. Again, not saying he's not clutch. Hell, he's playing nicely in his first playoffs.
