Breaking Bad: Gale Boetticher

My memory - Gale attempts to kill Jesse and Walt for having him fired and then attempting to kill him. ( I swear on my life this is what I remember and I even kept myself from “spoiling” it when I was watching the show with someone who had never seen it)

The show - Jesse shoots Gale dead and it’s not shown. It is later confirmed Gale is really dead.

I was confused and stunned because it was so different from my memory where Gale had a gun raised at Walt and Jesse. I was 100% sure of it and laughed about “knowing” Gale wasn’t dead and Jesse only ended up injuring him so much so he couldn’t get back to cooking. I know many would say maybe I dreamed it or something but this is something among others I completely remember and expected since the introduction of Gale.
