[Discussion] Three months in, lets talk DCYou. What are your surprises, disappoints, etc?

Superman was interesting for a while but they dragged the mystery out too long and I ditched all the Superman comics a couple of weeks ago. I'm going to give it some time to develop and then I might buy it later and read it all at once. I'm more concerned with Supergirl but she hasn't shown up anywhere and we still don't know when she's coming back. I thought she might show up to help Clark because she's in a similar situation but I guess I was wrong.

Batman is kind of boring. I've been waiting for the bat family to reunite since Death of the Family so Jim's storyline just seems like filler to me. I'm only behind one issue and I intend to keep up, but it feels like an obligation because I don't want to get lost. I'm ready for a new writer who actually includes things like Bruce wondering where the hell his children are, especially Damian and Tim who should still be living with him. I'm not sure I like the lack of continuity when it comes to these guys because it seems like a convenient way of ignoring each other's existences.

I was really disappointed in Black Canary. Maybe I didn't give it a fair chance, because I thought the supporting characters were really annoying (especially the kid), but when I heard her dead husband came back I lost all interest.

As for things I am enjoying, Robin, Midnighter, Martian Manhunter, and Starfire are my favorite new titles and Grayson is my favorite old title. Basically, I've stuck with what I liked since the beginning. It looks like I'm going to have to start buying Prez. I was going to wait since it had a guaranteed number of issues but it looks like that wasn't true. I'm also planning on picking up Cyborg and Omega Man once I'm done catching up on my backlog.
