[DISCUSSION] The Top Players in Destiny.

A lot of the guys in the top 50 or so are just DTR stat whores, several of them recently started streaming--I'll list them below. They only run 6 mans, a few of them only run in 3-4 mans so they can get more kills. I've played with and against a bunch of them.

It's something people around here don't like to admit, but simply put those players are at a different skill level. People can make all the excuses they want about how those people play more and playing more = more skill.

But I play a lot, and I can't hold a candle to them when I play with them. It's a completely different game, I'm minor leagues and they're major. A lot of Destiny players really have no idea how god awful they are at this game. The worst part isn't even that the majority of players are terrible and don't know they're terrible, it's that they actively find ways to justify being terrible.

I could post videos of me getting absolutely destroyed by these guys, and I have pretty reasonable stats myself that put me in the top 1% right along with them. I already posted a vid earlier of me getting destroyed by Kampii

As for /u/classic_griswald a few days ago you said KDR doesn't matter in an argument with me, and now you want to make your stats better. Chances are it's too late. Since this is my first shooter I was extremely terrible, had a 0.8 KD. I got my hunter to 1.65 so far but I've been posting 2.0+ KDs for weeks now, the only way you can fix your stats is to just delete all your characters, you don't need to do it all at once. Just one character at a time until you only have fresh ones.

Next thing is find solid skirmish players, and/or play rumble. If you're going to lone wolf clash/control you'll need to be posting 30+ kills every game. Keep in mind the best players are posting 40+ kills a game without even sweating. If you play by yourself you'll get more kills but it's tougher, if you play with a group you'll get less kills but games go faster/easier.
