[Discussion] Who has the best voice(s)?

I like all the voices. Hearing their voices develop from their first few singles to the most recent releases, it's clear the seiyuus have made huge strides in improvement and skill. They're voice acting, after all, so some voices will be over the top and everyone is entitled to an opinion of not liking a voice but that variety is what makes the group sound so great. The vocal diversity creates such a balanced blend and where one falters another excels; they work so hand in hand with one another.

Focusing on the strengths over weakness: Honoka and Nico have immense passion in their voices and it's hard to sing on pitch and exert so much energy in a song like they do. Kotori, Nozomi and Hanayo have blendable voices that float and sparkle above the rest without standing out. Eli and Umi have those strong, smooth voices that really resonate in their comfort range. Rin and Maki are special cases imo. Rin has a clean tone which proves very important to any singing group and Maki has a timbre that imo brings together the more nasally tones with the smoother ones.

Technically speaking, Rin is probably the best vocalist consistently. She has emotion and extreme vocal control so her notes are very crisp. These "perfect pitch" type voices are so important in a choir because they're like foundation, I guess. Some songs she really brightens her tone but when she sings in her chest voice she's impeccable.

But, personally speaking, I love Nico's voice because I've grown so attached to her as a character and vocalist. Like someone else here posted, I also sing as Nico in a group and mimicking her voice took a while because it's pretty technical as I've found through trial and error. She sings through her nose so her timbre is very bright but her voice is actually mezzo, sometimes alto (which is so hard to adjust to because I'm a soprano 1). She puts forth a lot of emotion and energy in her singing but stays on pitch which, as I've stated, is actually pretty difficult to master. Soramaru was very pitchy at first and honestly was one of the worse singers of the group but I think she's really fit into Nico's voice now and that development is admirable and impressive.

I have a lot of feelings. :')
