Lol when a “equivalent” whisperroom or studio brick is 8-12 thousand... yeah, 800 ain’t bad!!! My first booth was pvc and moving blankets... had to turn hvac, fridge and everything else in the house off to record and still had a lot to get rid of in “post”, So had to be after daughters where asleep! Next booth was better but not much, so same scenario just with less post production... this booth, As long as the girls aren’t stomping and screaming I’m good to go! I live in Texas... we need hvac lol... but yeah I didn’t say 800 was cheap, it’s not a small amount to me either... but in comparison, if that helps clear it up lol...
