Some people have reported hair loss with kratom use. It seems to be people who do it every day however that experience it. I personally have been dealing with this same issue. I am doing a crash taper and am going to quit this week and not do any for 3 or 4 months and see if I notice any difference.There is some talk about kratom possibly affecting the thyroid glands which could result in hair loss.

If I was you I would not do kratom for a couple weeks or a month and see if anything changes and if you are still losing hair.

This is probably not the best place to get info on this sort of thing as you can see. Most people here do kratom often if not every day and many are addicted. Many like to think that kratom is in no way harmful because it is something they are doing all the time and would like to pretend that it has no negative side effects. It wouldn't be good to acknowledge that what you are doing every day is maybe not completely harmless after all as ignorance is bliss.

/r/kratom has basically turned into the marijuana cures cancer/anything that ails you and has all these great things about it, but doesn't cause any more negative effects than water circle jerk. People here seem to only look to be self justified in their use of kratom and don't really care about any actual discussion on kratom unless it fits their predetermined narrative.

You can see this yourself since your post is lower than 0. If this was a community you could actually ask people an honest question about kratom and discuss it instead of just posting things about how kratom is great you wouldn't be downvoted. Sadly that is not the case.

Anyways sorry for the rant. It just pisses me off how a kratom subreddit should be a friendly community of people interested in the drug and learning about it but instead it is full of people who you can hardly convince it is even a drug and think it has zero negative effects. I would suggest you try /r/kratomkorner and /r/quittingkratom. You might have a little more luck.
