Does UCI have a process to recall the ASU council members?

So now that everyone is all of a sudden interested in ASUCI, I would like to take some time to bring your attention to some REAL issues that should be addressed:

1) UCI Housing has just confirmed that the MESA COURT Expansion has been using the students money to be built. This means they have been using YOUR money to pay for a $100 Million building project, planning to increase the housing fee by an average of 3 percent every year and use your money to pay for DEBT SERVICES.

2) Parking has been confirmed to be the second highest PROFIT PROVIDER in the UCI, following housing. Parking has garnered over $2 Million just over the last year by increase YOUR MONEY! While the director of Transportation and Distribution Services has denied any request to speak with students, parking plans to continue to raise prices over the next coming years.

3) Our EEE website has officially become privatized, and starting Spring, it will no longer be run by the university, but rather by private corporations that are PROFITING OFF OF YOUR MONEY!

4) Our Counseling Center has effectively ran out of space for good. There is absolutely no more space for the counseling center to expand its services, to the point that earlier this year they had to occupy THREE OF THE STUDY LOUNGES just to operate.

5) The Chancellor has dissolved the board that was meant to address the issues of Black Students on Campus, and after not listening to the BSU demands, multiple faculty members and students have REFUSED to come back to the discussion table until the chancellor starts to listen to the demands.

6) There are numerous reports indicating that the UC plans on promoting a huge push for Online Education, which means the quality of YOUR education can be under attack.

7) The tuition increase is still on the UC's agenda to happen next year, while the chancellor will receive a 20% raise in his salary, which will be paid by YOUR MONEY!

Tell me again, why are we focusing on flags???

Posted by someone else on facebook. While the OP did not include all of his sources, he did point out important things.

Other people from ASUCI are also organizing votes for a veto against banning the flags (the ban was not specifically for the American flag but for all flags), and so there is something being done about it.

I would rather choose to be mad about other things than something that is going to be dealt with soon and very easily.
