Dog Snapped at Baby. Help!

I'm glad that others have emphasized how serious this is, but I think there could be a couple steps before completely rehoming this dog. Get the option of a certified behaviorist (not a trainer). Ask an expert to assess risk and room for improvement, rather than just trusting all of us internet strangers. In the meantime, I would basically follow the "crate and rotate" model. If your daughter is out, your dog is away (in a crate, gated in a separate room, outside, tethered to the other parent, whatever). Dog and baby do not interact at all, ever. Dog comes out when your kid is sleeping or off with the nanny. Maybe a dog walker can come to give your dog some attention in the middle of the day.

Talk with your behaviorist about what's a realistic goal for your dog. Think seriously about if your home can accommodate keeping your baby and dog separated potentially for years. Obviously you have to prioritize your daughter's health and safety, but you should also evaluate all your options first and make your decisions based on the advice of experts.
