I don't blame Deadpool either for wanting to smoke with me and Cheech... Also, I loved that movie.

first of all, let me tell you how much i admire you and your life. i hope to achieve at least a tenth of what you achieved. not only professionally, but also as a person. also i excuse myself for my poor english, as it is my second language and i kind of suck at it.

i have a crazy brain, i can’t stop thinking. i’m a software developer, but also like to write songs (i play the bass, drums, guitar and sing), i grow pot with the help of my beautiful wife, and amongst a lot of other activities (which actually don’t fulfil the hunger of my mind), i love to think and write movie plots and even a documentarie  about weed. but as i don't have a wealthy family and also live in a third world country, i have to work my ass off and don’t really have the chance and time to do something with all those things my brain creates. for example, it’s been about 2 years since i started to write my first book, and still have a few months until i get everything sorted out to publish it (i mean, i already written it, but that’s not all it comes with writing a book), and this is just one of many activities, including procrastinating.

well, enough words. a few weeks ago,i was driving and i was pretty high and my mind started to fly around a movie idea, about weed, and it kind of ended up in the best stoner movie ever, with tommy chong as the president of USA.

so let’s stop with the intro here.

I call it “the movie without name because i’m very bad at titles”

summary:

in a near future, humanity accepted that cannabis is a miracle plant, every country in the world stopped calling it a gateway drug, and everyone is enjoying the goods of this great plant. paper is 100% made from hemp, also clothes, doctors found out weed cures many illnesses, no more oil fuels as now hemp biodiesel is the most widely used fuel, and pot smokers are everywhere, along with their environment compromise, kindness, happy faces, lots of laughs. the current US president is the great grandson of tommy chong, a known actor who became an icon in the fight for the marijuana revolution. but not everything is pink, not everyone is happy. there are some men who want to see the world burn. they want to topple tommy chong jr jr, and make the pot smokers go away, and keep an eye on every little event that could help them erase those ugly hippies. suddenly, a small rural town is struck with a tragedy, a car accident that involves a family of three, a widower mom and her daughter, and two pot growers from a local dispensary. this event unchained a process that would make humanity turn back against marijuana smokers, unless their unconditional friends and family dig out the truth about that tragic accident.

characters:

first family: carl, his wife joan, and little jason (their son)

second family: patrick (dead firefighter), wife sarah, daughter emily (has epilepsy, weed helped her a lot)

pot growers: robert, jim, and the twin brothers john and john (her mom was a pothead and thought it would be really funny and easier to name them that way. they both agree with that)

(if you pay attenton, its ROBERT plant, JIMMY page, JOHN paul jones, and JOHN bonham)

first scene:

(if i learned something about “up in smoke” is that the opening scene is the most important)

john and john go into a gas station, to buy some cigarettes, while they are shopping, a cop comes in (why not bill murray) and hears them asking for the smokes, then he goes:

cop: you know boys, tobacco is really bad for your health

john and john: yeah we know, it's a bad vice, we really want to quit it.

cop: yes, my father died from lung cancer, he smoked all his life. i’m not touching it

(cop makes a face)

cop: did you ever tried marijuana (as he takes out a big fat blunt from his pocket)?

j&j: well we actually are pot dispensaries (they take out a fatter and bigger blunt)

now they all start smoking, and go out, waving at the cop car where the second cop (why not jim carrey) is also lighting up.

now a big pan over the city, everybody tokin and enjoying the great life

the plot:

sarah and emily love the boys from the pot dispensary, they are really nice to emily, and they provide them got quality weed, 100% free, because they want to help them get by emily’s epilepsy, after her father patrick died fighting a fire four years ago, who was also a childhood friend of the guys at the pot farm.

one day robert and one of the twins went to buy some soil and shit (ok guano), and while stopped on the route waiting to take a turn left, sarah and emily pass by on their right and stop for a moment to say hi to their good friends. from the other direction, carl joan and jason are coming back from a nice family picnic at the lake, but as they approach rob and john’s car waiting to turn, a bee stings carl’s neck, and carl, who is actually allergic to bee stings, starts to swell and loses control of his car, front crashing at high (jaja i said high in a pot movie) speed against robert and john. the result is a mess. carl, joan and jason die, as well as robert and john, and also little emily dies in the arms of the first cop that arrived the scene (one of the guys that still hate pot smokers). sarah enters a comatose state and can’t tell what happened. shitstorm from now. all the media talking about how two potheads killed a family and a small epileptic girl, because they were driving too high.

it’s now up to the resting twin john, devastated, and jim. they will fight against the lobby that wants to end the freedom of pot smokers, who state that weed is good for everything but smoking. when the autopsy shows that carl had an allergic reaction which was maybe the cause of the accident, some doubts arise, the bad guys have to cover it up.

will sarah wake up in time from her coma and have the chance to tell jim and john what actually happened? will tommy chong jr jr stand his position as the most important president in the world and stop the haters to ban smoking weed? will jim and john be able to reach the president and smoke a fatty while watching “up in smoke” and forgetting for a brief moment that they had to save marijuana?

i hope you liked it! this is it, it’s out of my head. i can now go back to procrastinating shit.
