I don't own a crab but I found an alternative!

If it helps provide a frame of reference, I strongly prefer it (comfort-wise) over the chromed grip studio's. It's one of my favourite models that Lamy produces, with the Lamy Accent Brilliant Briarwood being one of my favourites, aside from the Lamy 2000 (I've got most ranging from Safari's all the way up to the Imporium/Dialogue 3).

If you get a chance at some point in the future to try one in person I can recommend that you give it a go. If it helps provide context, I'm a larger-than-average fellow though, so something like the CP1 or the Lamy Logo are distinctly uncomfortable for me to try to use for longer writing sessions.

Also, side note, if you're not a fan of the grip section for whatever specific model you try they sell separate replacement grips ranging from wood and rubber to metal, resin, and lacquer.

Food for thought only because, for the studio you have pictured, I remembered being disappointed that the whole grip section was essentially made of molded plastic with rubber grafted on top.

The fact that the default steel-nib Accent actually had a real wood grip was also a massive selling feature for me as well (strongly prefer the feel of wood to chromed metal for a grip section myself).
