We're still on the non lethal thing so I don't think this will ever go through.

But sure, that's another debate that isn't up to me or you, one thing I know for sure is that the last thing a conservative government wants to do is close down businesses, so maybe that's a reason to maybe take it more seriously.

I completely agree however that people's mental health and well-being should always be very important. It's just that to some people, seeing a growing death toll every day could be worse for their mental health than not being able to go to the pub, we're all different people and there are various mental disorders.

And if you mean jobs etc, well, in my personal view that's the governments responsibility. Say you have somebody that's immunocompromised from chemo, and you're told that if you don't go into work you'll lose your job.. that isn't a society I want to be a part of.
