I won't boo him, but I hope we crush his team every time.

I still love Kawhi. I'm just really disappointed. Kawhi playing for the Spurs for his whole career would have been such a beautiful story but things just didn't work out. He's the the reason I followed the Spurs and NBA. Heck I only became a fan in 2015 and he's the only basketball player I ever loved. I love him because of his quiet demeanor. He inspired me that quiet people can be successful too: just work hard and people will recognize you.

How he handled the whole situation is consistent with his personality. Yes, it is unprofessional, irresponsible, and even ungrateful, but I totally understand why he acts like that. It's such a shame that it has to end this way. I wish him nothing but the best but I just can't support wherever he's going.
