I voted liberal because I didn’t like the blatant disregard for education that Ford shows. That said, Ford was voted in because although the liberals have done great with respect to social issues they’ve made some very poor decisions with respect to the province’s finances including: prematurely wasting money on green energy when they should have waited 5-10 years for the tech to drop in price(I work in power generation and it’s a disaster). They’ve also regulated the province into oblivion and made it very hard to do business profitably. Ford won because he appealed to the suffering middle class with his open for business attitude - let’s face it the liberals had been in power for so long and got away with so much shady shit like the McGuinty gas plant scandal. People were sick of the liberals and who could blame them. To assume anyone voted for Ford because of buck a beer is ridiculous...
