Weirdly enough, for some reason during my senior year of highschool something went wrong with my sense of taste or smell, and I basically couldn’t detect or register the “unpleasant” taste/smell of alcohol.

I could tell it was tequila or vodka or whatever, but it didn’t bother me to drink. I wasn’t downing it like water though, because I was pretty light-weight, but after a hugging-the-toilet blackout on my buddy’s 21st I lost that “ability” and ever since I’ve felt like I was robbed of a superpower.

That’s also how I learned that spitting/throwing up blood when drinking large amounts of high-alcohol-content liquids is normal, as it essentially erodes the lining of your throat.
