And no one cares about the "good people" who are down on there luck either as long as their out of sight out of mind. Not defending the encampment but it's wild seeing people in these threads playing ignorance to the housing crisis and claiming the only reason you'd be in this situation unless your a thief/addict/rapist then a couple threads up you'll see someone depeserately looking for housing with a budget of $1200 and get laughed at. It's so frustrating as someone who has struggled to find stable affordable housing. Something is fundamentally broken in this country. You can give the cops an extra billion dollars and a dozen bulldozers if you want, it's still going be broken.
