It's terrible and you should feel bad. Why not use the original title and let us derive our own conclusions?
If I'm doing the budget for the household in hard times, I go full hog on "Okay, I can live on beans and rice, I'll get a prepaid phone, I don't need the Science Channel, I'll drop the cable plan to "Basic"...
And then I get yelled at a bunch and negotiated with and get the occasional threat of being de-balled in the dark of night and I find a compromise where I'm not giving Visa and Friends an assload (or fuckton, if you want to be scientific) - it's the same thing here.
If you value these programs, hunt down and yell at the specific Congresscritters who are in charge of making these decisions and yell at them.
Can't say this loudly enough: THEY DECIDE THE BUDGET.
Prez - whether Obama, Raptor Jesus, or Trump makes "suggestions" and then Congress tends to fuck it all up with pork and grandstanding, and if the Prez is lucky, he gets something back that doesn't make him pull his gold-plated 1911 out of the desk drawer.
So tired of this crap - there's complaints that the Prez is a dictator (Saw it for both parties) and then everyone wants them to somehow be a dictator when it suits their interests and preferences.
It don't bloody work that way. Bad OP.
