Dune is most certainly not slow paced. There are numerous high action scenes throughout the book. Lots of fun stuff for a visually exciting movie. The betrayal battle has the potential to be amazing. The sardaukar are gonna fuck shit up.

The book immediately starts with major upheaval and large scale narrative. I won’t say a movie I haven’t seen is going to be great. Cause I haven’t seen it. But y’all keep talking about dune like you don’t get dune. And that’s ok. It took me multiple readings to get dune.Hopefully Villeneuve and Co knock it outta the park. I’ve listened to the way he talks about the series in interviews. And he gets it. So as a fan of the series I’m stoked.

I’m gonna be there opening weekend for sure. And prob host a party to watch it with friends on hbo. I’m gonna make a dessert that looks like worms in the desert and use vodka and weed gummies in it.
