Dwight Howard is on pace to be just 5th player ever (Wilt, Moses, Shaq, Tim) to avg 10+ PPG and 10+ RPG in each of first 13 seasons. Only Wilt and Moses reached in each of first 14 seasons.

All NBA is not as hard for a center to get as it once was. There isn't much competition.

Shaquille O'Neal, Amare Stoudemire, Yao Ming, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Pau & Marc Gasol. Yeah what a bunch of scrubs.../S

All defense is impressive but not as impressive when his offensive is so bad.

So bad that Dwight averaged 20.6 PPG on 59.3 eFG% for six consecutive playoff runs, as the only star on a 50 win contender. And how defense a small footnote for the ONLY 3x consecutive DPOY in NBA history? Dwight wasn't just some gritty defender. He was one of the most game changing defensive forces in modern basketball.

I don't think he belongs in the HOF if you directly compare him to other HOF centers.

HoF centers like Patrick Ewing? Their playoff averages (PTS/REB/BLK):

P. Ewing - 20.2/10.3/2.2 on 47.1 eFG%

D. Howard - 19.1/14.1/2.6 on 58.9 eFG%

Dikembe Mutombo is in the Hall of Fame, so is Dennis Rodman and Ben Wallace will soon join both. Dwight Howard is nearly as accomplished defensively while being light years better than any of those men could dream of being offensively.

If defense and rebounding is enough, then Dennis rodman should be in first.

Ummmmmm

So that's why you don't think Dwight should be in the Hall of Fame, you pay no attention to it.
