Eagle takes down deer

Actually, you completely misinterpreted what I was trying to say. First of all, you're quite obviously unfamiliar with the culture in which I live -- my peers and I, we all tend to call everything assholes for the most mundane matters. In any case, I'm just going to run along with the idea that the eagle could indeed be your definition of an asshole.

You obviously have not watched the full video. Not only was the goat's death excruciating -- it was paralyzed instantly upon impact, left to die in agony, but the eagle also went back to kill the rest of its herd for no reason at all. It was not necessary to the eagle's survival, and it was a very brutal act that appears senseless because firstly, it obviously couldn't have eaten them all in one sitting, secondly, it could have never dreamt of carrying them all back to its perch.

Senseless and unnecessary acts is what I would constitute as your definition of an asshole, but that's not what I was saying at all. I'm very fascinated by nature, and I watch several documentaries and shows on the matter. I'm quite taken with Savannah lions, which perform some of the most brutal killings seen in nature, so I have come to view them objectively.

In fact, I couldn't give less of a fuck about these goats. You know why? Because these goats are assholes too. Refer to this video of a goat eating a chicken. I could paste so many videos of "cute and innocent" animals savagely eating living beings, so I always have difficulty giving half a shit about vegan propaganda (other than agricultural's environmental impact) because quite frankly, as much as an eagle is an asshole, everything else is an asshole.

Eagles are assholes, goats are assholes, deer are assholes, rabbits are assholes, we all are assholes on this asshole of a planet. If we were small enough these cows that we eat would happily gobble us up. Calling something an asshole is NOT a "moral standpoint."
