EDM is the WWE of music

That's a good analogy. You have to suspend your disbelief to enjoy many of these kinds of sets.

Nothing more irritating than EDM heads talking about big-house, press-play DJ's like they're "performing" in the same way actual musical artists perform. Just because you put a cool track on your playlist doesn't mean you performed it. Most of them delude themselves into thinking these massive productions would leave anything to chance beyond the bare minimum. Smaller sets like 2ManyDjs show that they're actually mixing and creating their sets in real-time. But acts like Calvin Harris, Kygo, Kaskade, Illenium, etc.? Forget about it.

Still, these sets can be fun with the right mindset.
