It's not difficult to find other places for hosting. Smaller sites won't be shutting down or accommodating take-down requests within legal boundaries. And obviously governments wouldn't take the sites down, inviting all sorts of constitutional messes or economic disadvantages. Even if that happened, there'd be Tor.

The only argument to be made is that you can try to lessen recruitment by making such things less accessible, or rarer to stumble upon. It's far too late for that, as this new bullshit already has too much momentum, not to mention that it's explicitly supported by some politicians, and implicitly supported by even the fucking president of USA.

Change their minds through discourse, or shoot them. Don't implement irrational measures creating more problems via precedent, which will inevitably prove to be ineffective anyway.
