Is elden ring too hard?

I am not sure. Any of the soulsborne/ring games are difficult until it clicks I guess. The beginning is always the hardest for most until you get rolling with your build and use to your weapon of choice and their skill set.

I remember when I first played bloodborne years ago it was a pa plus game and the first few days I was stuck at the beginning dying over and over but every time I would get slightly better. I gave up for a week but I did come back and when I did it just clicked. I was able to make a run through to the next lamp (bonfire) and felt great. The boss was tough but eatable once I figured out a strategy.

I became hooked and ended up playing everyone 100% other than senior which I just never really liked due to the party mechanic.

Just got a ps5 so looking forward to demo. Souls remake but havnt had time with work.

As for elden ring it’s a catch 22. It’s similar in skill set for sure but open world makes a lot of those things easier. You can also multiplayer a lot of fights due to the amount of people since it’s still a hot game. However if you do get into this game just know that it is huge and much bigger than previous titles. I firmly believe there will be a point where all of a sudden you will fall in love with the game as so many else have but if not this is a big game to grind through with no passion.
