So touching... I know nobody asked but I love talking about my grandparents... both born In the twenties and met during the second world war. My grandpa was infantry and severed with General patton and my grandma was a nurse for the navy. My grandpa had a peice of pipe bomb shrapnel In his chest that they could never remove.... they both died within the last decade at 87 and 85..... I remember them celebrating there like 69th anniversary... crazy man.... My grandpa died first and when military guy's showed up and saluted us as we came into the graveyard, then played taps as he was lowered.... man. I have never cried more in my life.... My grandma deteriorated soon after.... I think from a broken heart... love you grandma and grandpa!
