I mean... He's not wrong, public transport sucks in the ways he mentioned. He wasn't saying people shouldn't do it and I'm sure he completely understand that people use it cause they're poor like you said, that doesn't mean people want to over having more personal space if they were both affordable and environmentally friendly etc..

He's not saying fuck public transport, he just wants a better affordable option where you don't have to just accept those uncomfortable conditions because you don't have the money for something better. He's not happy with the conditions people have to handle right now, he wants to make it better or at least give another alternative for those who share his opinion, I don't know why everyone's butthurt that he just wants to improve something.
