Emma Watson Celebrated International Women’s Day by Hiding Feminist Books Throughout New York City

There is this strange drive with making feminism = equality that a lot of people have trouble with. I think a lot of people are fine with feminism being part of all the things that equality stands for but not the two things being the same thing. For me feminism is about women's rights.I'm all for women's rights but I'm not a feminist because I want equality and all wrongs being fixed.

It of course depends about what we are talking about it. When it comes to countries like saudi-arabia then sure you could claim my viewpoints being feminist because in most hardcore religious countries women's rights are extremely poor. But even then I'd rather be wanting for more equality because sexual minorities and atheists are facing far worse punishments in those countries as well. And things like male rape is almost ignored despite it being a massive issue in places like africa just because it doesn't fit into this strange feminism ideology.

As for feminism being labelled wrong by media is just false though. All movements as. Especially in america. Nobody has nothing positive to say about black lives matter though. All movements have their ideological extremes and I don't really see feminism being treated any more harshly than other movements.
